In London (the flight over)

Ok, so here I am, my first post from London! It's been a crazy few days here so far. I'll start at the beginning... 6:15am, Sunday the 29th, mother woke me so I could ready myself to the flight (I didn’t get to sleep until about 3am the night before, too excited). After some preparation we headed out to the airport (at 7:15 ish), much to the dismay of my mother I *slightly* exceeded the speed limit the whole way to LAX. So, as a result of these factors, we ended up at the airport around 9am, flight was at 12:47pm, just a tad early... (thanks mom!). After a *short* time in the terminal it was time to board, my seat was epically good, row 30B, and exit row right behind the wing, plenty of legroom! The flight was great, despite the enormous space in front of my spot being used as a recreation area for small children and clot concerned individuals, one woman started jogging in place, strange… My neighbor was a pleasant man from the Channel Islands who reminded me in many ways of my English teacher from high school, Dr. Ian Dinmore. I tried to sleep as much as I could but only managed about two hours. After the nine and a half hour flight, (tailwinds) we touched down at Heathrow. So ended an incredibly long flight and began a great adventure.

  1. so what did you expect on a transatlantic flight - gisha dancers at a wedding party? All's well that ends well. Welcome to London
