What this trip is about... (And what I'm about)

I leave on the 29th of this month (March) and have a bunch of plans already, I should end up in Barcelona and France on top of my stay in London and Germany, oh and a week in Florida on the way back I guess! I cant wait to go, finals are impossible to concentrate on right now. Just a couple short weeks then I'm on the plane to Heathrow! Oh I guess a quick introductions is in order for anybody that actually is interested enough to read this stuff: I am a third year International Business and Marketing double major at California State Polytechnic University Pomona. I have been really active around campus but right now I'm just about figuring everything out and not having any obligations so that stuff has been put on the back burner. I work at the Police station on campus (nighttime safety patrols) and couldn't thing of a better job for a student (heck, if I'm going to be up anyways, why not get paid...). That said, I'm not Mr. uptight and usually find plenty of time to have fun on the nights I'm not working. I hope this trip is educational in both a scholarly sense and on a personal level, I would really like to come away from the trip with a better understanding of who I am and where I want to be in life! Not that I don't have some idea, I know I want to work in the automotive field, a life without cars is no life for me. I am really interested in automotive marketing and product development (what people want in their cars and how best to get those things into the car). Its always sounded like a juvenile dream to me but I would LOVE to open my own car company some day, I just have to figure out exactly how to go about that... But yeah in a really small nutshell that's me! I hope this blog can be as much a journey for you as it hopefully will be for me.
